St. Lawrence Restoration was established in 1973 and is a full-service marina, located directly across from Washington Island.

We have a staff of experienced carpenters, refinishers and mechanics and work on wood, fiberglass and steel hull boats. Our carpenters can replace a plank, can replace bottoms, decks, transoms, etc. Refinishers can apply varnish, do gelcoat repairs or paint your entire boat. They are experienced in the application of Steppani varnish which is used on the Riva from Italy, as well as Emron and Awlgrip paints. Our mechanics can troubleshoot problems you may have and are able to re-power your boat should you wish to do that.

We offer summer dockage with over 70 slips and 6 mooring for sailboats. We have a covered boathouse which will house 24 boats. Since being built a few years ago, it has been full of wood boats. We handle approximately 110 boats for winter storage, offering outside covered, or inside storage at our facilities just outside Clayton. Boats are also stored in our boathouses over the winter.

We operate a discount marine store at our facility, stocking all products necessary to clean your boat as well as the products for the do-it-yourselfer who wants to do his own varnishing and painting. A section of the store is devoted almost entirely to antique boat hardware and parts. If you are restoring your boat, it is worth it to stop in and see if we might have something you need on our shelves.

Boat brokerage is another service we offer. We broker both wood and fiberglass, high quality boats.
